Who We Are

At LaGuardo Church of Christ, we believe in the power of God's love, revealed to us through Jesus' sacrificial atonement for our sins on the cross of Calvary. We believe that salvation is made available to everyone who hears the Gospel, believes and confesses that Jesus is the Son of God and died for his/her sins, repents of sins, and is baptized for the forgiveness of those sins.

We believe that worship is a powerful way to connect with God and experience His presence in our lives. Our worship is patterned after the worship that we read about in the New Testament. Men lead us in prayer and lead us in the singing of hymns without instrument. We hear a lesson from God's inspired word. We observe the Lord's supper and we take up an offering.

We enjoy each others' company. Each first Sunday of the month we enjoy a potluck meal following our morning worship. Our afternoon worship service on that day begins after the meal concludes. Visitors are always welcome to join us.

Nicholas Rooley has served as our minister since 2023. He graduated from Middle Tennessee School of Preaching in 2018, Nashville State Community College in 2018, and Nashville School of Preaching in 2021. He has participated in mission work to the Navajo Nation in both Arizona and New Mexico.  He enjoys connecting with his friends online and playing on Xbox.
